Nothing there, sorry. I see the problem you need to put a space after the html

The coin is the bust type, Carlos IV, which means it can only be as old as 1789. So I'm not sure what to make of what the seller is claiming. It isn't worth much in that condition, even assuming it is real. Pass.

    What could it be worth?

Even assuming it is real, less than he is asking.

How would you know if it's fake?

I think what Acanthite was trying to indicate.
Carlos IV was born in 1748.
Kinda hard to have your likeness on a coin in 1726

The date cannot be made out on the pics. And while the seller is obviously wrong about the date, I'm not sure that Acanthite was trying to say anything other than the fact that seller was definitely wrong about the date.

I mentioned that it may not be real because these coins are heavily counterfeited and based on those pics you couldn't say if it was real or not. But even it was real - it's still not worth $25 in that condition.

What I was implying above was that the seller obviously knows nothing about the coin, so how would even that person know it was real. In addition, they are selling it at a particular price, determined by...what?
