odd kennedy coin

ok i have a kennedy half dollar a 1984 p

heres the deal its gold? plated and has 1960 stamped over "in god" and 1985 stamped over "trust "

im not sure how i got a hold of it but ive had it for a long time i always wondered if it were fake or just "special"

Sounds like a novelty item, no Numismatic value, worth $0.50 to me..maybe a few dollars on ebay, who knows?

 

I've seen a lot of Kennedys in my day and have run across a few gold-plated ones. Or maybe gold-colored-plated. Little if any value.

I think I have one just like yours but my dates are 1960 and 1980
It's nothing special just kept it cause its kinda neat

Undoubtably post mint but what does it signify? Hearing about one was vaguely unusual but then to actually see 2 more in replys ..what are they ?

have one as well...found it in circulation and just kept it because I had searched 3 boxes of halves and not found anything but a '71 with a drill hole that I put on my keychain, so I kept this one too so I didn't feel like a complete failure
