I will start the show off with a coin from the last Duke of Burgundy, Charles the Bold 1467-77. He and his ary where annilihilated by the Swiss and the Lorrainers at Nancy in 1477.

It took place in January/1477. Charles with 8000 Burgundian Knights/ Infantry faced the combined armies of Renee II of Lorraine with 12000 + 10000 infantry from the Swiss Confederation. Charles never had a chance. Nancy was a now covered Battlefield, that turned from white to red with blood. Weapons of the day, mace/ battle axe/ pole axe/ board sword/ dagger/ lance.
