    That is not a 1916D-it is just a stretch to make a sale. You would not really advertise that unless it was the real thing and could prove it. That is why he put a ? next to it. If he knew it was there, do you think he would be selling the lot for that price without a good reserve?

    Hex No I have had mine 1916-D for about 6 year.found under a old house floor by a cotton mill
