New here; have a few questions concering some coins and stoage...

    It looks very ugly with this peeling but is relatively in great condition. I just don't know whether to leave it as is and put in mylar flip or capsule or take off whatever is peeling off of this coin. I'm sure it was suppose to be on there.

    After some additional thought, it appears to have been there for a while and hasn't damaged the coin, so it probably won't hurt to leave it alone for now! JMO

    I'm not sure it was supposed to be on there. If you bought it from a dealer, I would take it back. For the rest of the coins, getting them out of the cardboard is not a bad idea. You can rinse/soak them in many pure solvents (distilled water/alcohol/acetone/xylene) with no risk of damage, except I would hold off on even this with the 16D and the 1921's until you post some pictures here.

    I got the Kangaroo from the Canberra Mint. So, hot off the metal but 23 years old.

    I'll go with tape or glue on the dollar. They don't come that way from the mint.
