Did i miss something in the contest description? That's a sizable mound of change there, who knows how thick, or what's hidden, in the creamy smooth center...

It's always good to have a bit of debate... Especially in a thread like this

 

How did you guys look at it?did you actually zoom in and kind of counted them like I did or just did a brief look and guess I don't think there's over $100 in that pile/my opinion.

 

Quick glance. Looked like a lot of coins.

 

If it's okay with @Randy Abercrombie, I can post a picture of my "calculation" sheet I did in fact zoom in and attempt to take into account the potential height of the pile. Who knows what's buried underneath - perhaps Randy was clever a hid a $.03 piece at the very bottom; certainly nobody would see that coming!

Not at all. I simply dumped the bag below out and sort of scooped them into a pile that I could photograph. No funny business involved at all!! That entire bag holds halves and small dollars that I have accumulated over the years.
