OMG. The thought never crossed my mind Thad, I was so " sauced " on this weekend.

Jungle Jims " Weekend of Fire " in Fairfield. It was held in the nearby Oscar Convention center and had 200 dealers and makers from across America.

Jungle Jims was my 1st major grocery store that stocked our sauce...... As far as I know, I still have old label sauce on the shelves, but according to them, it is getting thin, just a few bottles left.....They boast the largest selection of hotsauce in America....over 2000 different brands and labels.

Not to hijack a thread but my 2 year non compete is over...I can brew again, lol. !!!!!!!!!!! Yee Hawwwwww

 

I've been there a few times, just drove by it last month. I would have definately showed, not only to meet you, but I love hot sauces.

Their display is fun to look at, but completely overwhelming. If someone is serious into selling their sauce, they need to setup taste tables constantly. I've bought some salsa's in the past just because I was actually able to taste a few at the store. I hate to crap shoot hot sauce! I've had too many horrible bottles, there's some nasty stuff out there. It's not all about the heat, it's about the flavor for me. I like hot, but not so smoking hot you can't taste a dasm thing after you eat it! I dunno how many bottles that were gifted to me that I threw away after one taste session. Everyone knows I love hot so they go to these places and ask for their hottest sauce to give to me. LOLOLOLOL I have to tell them....NO NO NO.....thank you, I'll try it, but I might not like it. Next time ask for the medium hot. lmao

 

You'll probably laugh, but really, this is my favorite everyday sauce. I always have a bottle or two of the regular. It's not very hot, but I just love the flavor of this stuff.

 

Expedia burnt me bigtime last April going to Hawaii. I had a condo rented for 10 days etc.. I ended up paying out the you know what for 5 tickets on the next flight out. Orbitz and Expedia are both a bunch of.... nevermind. Family show..

 

Up to this weekend, every coinshow I have traveled to was thru Travelocity, never once a problem. They even reimbursed when my Uncle Skip got bounced from a flight last Tucson show ( back to Detroit)......

Call me lazy. I need to keep a better eye on stuff. Missing Cincinatti was a total bummer.

 

We were able to get our hotel $$ back....as long as we stay in the same brand in the next 3 months......fair to me.

 

I'm sorry to hear about your situation AJ. Good that you got your money back though...
