I was looking through my Morgan’s today when this caught my eye. It appears to be a die crack that runs through the date , and to the left through the stars to the letter E. To the right, but much fainter through the letter M in unum. Could not find anything like it online or in vamwotld Would like to know what you guys think.
Looks like damage.3 incredibly spaced indents. Maybe a hit from the reeds of another coin. Also notice there is a die crack that runs along the outside edge of the whole reverse. In the pics, best seen in the A of states. you can see it running along the top of the word AMERICA too.
