I’m excited, so leave me alone! Haha. Located directly east of the eye, is a second eye-lid, eye, etc. to the north, appears to be a second brow. Curious to learn your thoughts. I’m feeling confident about this one. if I’m excited for nothing, well, not the first time! HAHA! I’m not aware of any special varieties for the 1998 cent, aside from the wide “AM”.
@PennyRich Actually there are now close to 40 doubled dies for the reverse 1998 P. I contributed three of them to Wexler's list.. WDDR-037,038 & 039.
Well ... haha. Not sure how I missed that. Are there any for the obverse? Because this eye certainly appears to be a double IMO. [edited]
The front of the nose is MDD, lower front of nose is pareidola. Upper brow region looks like contact or wear damage. The full cent photo gives more of an indication of true doubling than the megasize ones where lighting become difficult to do. Sooner or later Jim
