Recently, a friend of mine lost her dad to Pancreatic Cancer (combined with Pneumonia, and a case of Covid for a kicker). Turns out, her dad was a hoarder and had a huge crate of coins. As I'm going through them, I'll post some interesting things I find. The first is a ragged edge incomplete planchet wheat cent, and an early date 1919D to boot. I thought it was really cool, and you don't see ragged edges very often. I'm well convinced it is genuine, due to the pronounced Blakesley effect opposite. Any estimates on value?
Especially on an early date wheat! I think the thumbprint on the obverse hurt it, and there is a glossy sheen that makes it look like it was cleaned a couple decades ago. It isn't as evident in these pics, but I took some higher quality ones for my listing.
