I often search rolls of cents and find a few wheats this way. I am thinking about starting a folder of just the wheats I found in rolls.

Has anyone else tried this, if so how far along are you. What is the best coin in the album?

Okay - I have two sets of 1941 to 1974. I figure to finish them would have to buy some wheats to search. I already bough 3 processed 1943s to fill some slots. Neither set will be worth anything - but I find it fun to try to fill a hole from pocket change.

I found everything except the 09-S VDB from circulation.
I cheated. It was 40 years back and worked in the cash room of a large dept. store for my dad. I got to count and roll all the cents. I'll never forget how much fun I had.

Wheaties are far and few in between.

I know it's not "cool", but why not try collecting a "RED" set of memorial cents?

I don't know, but whenever I see a Bright RED 1979-D lincoln in my change or in a roll, I go through the whole "I've fallen down and I can't get back up again" mode.
