Do you have coins or medals with warriors, royalties or anyone on a horse? At first I thought I didn't have much but after doing some digging, I've got quite a few. I'd like to share some of mine with you. Post yours please, especially if you've got a design of a woman on a horse. I don't have any. Well, here are my coins (and medals) with someone on a horse, in no particular order: [1] 1999 Delaware Statehood Quarter and 2016 North Dakota ATB Quarter. [2] 1935 Pony Express Medal - 75th Anniversary. The Reverse shows the Relay Station where they changed ponies. [3] 1960 Pony Express Medal - Centennial. The Pony Express lasted only about a year. Do you know why? [4] 1951 Great Britain 5 Shillings and 2007 Russia 10 Kopeks. St. George astride a horse, slaying the Dragon or Serpent. [5] 1973 Canada 25-cent piece. [6] A Medal (in a series commemorating the Battle of Gettysburg) about the temporary defeat and retreat of Union forces at McPherson Ridge. (Remember your History classes?) [7] Golden State Mint copper rounds, showing Chief Red Horse, in full headdress and spear, and a Sioux Chief on a horse, appealing to the Great Spirit. There's a real statue of the latter in Boston. [8] From one of my favorite series - The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - these are the White Horse of Conquest, Red Horse of War, Black Horse of Famine, and Pale Horse of Death. (Common Reverse - a really cool design - at center.) [9] These are from the Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang series. Komsco Mint medals from 2017 and 2018, with the mythical warrior on his horse. [10] Finally, since I can't find any woman on a horse in my stash, I choose this one. 1916 Italy 2-Lire. She's not exactly astride a horse, but close enough. This is one of my favorites. My photo skills aren't good enough to capture the stunning details of this piece. I really like old Italian and French designs. Looking forward to seeing your Warriors (or anyone) on Horses. Thanks!
WOWWW!!! Nice! I enjoy reading up on the stories behind the coins. Do those 13 surrounding horses mean something?
I'm not sure if the number has any exact meaning. Here is a brochure/COA that I found online that has some info on the coin (but it unfortunately does not answer your question).

Thanks for showing me these. They're quite old. I like them. I see that you've even got a 3D statue of the second token you posted. EDIT: And thanks for posting a woman on a horse.
@brg5658 - Do you remember when you alerted me to this one on eBay? It's still my favorite "horse & rider".
Doubled die from Brasil... and my extreme doubled die from Brasil... An Australian gold sovereign coin I used to have , but I sold it during hard times. I miss that coin...
That's a very nice piece. Very high relief. At least 2" in diameter? I like French medals. Is it by Bottee? I can't make out the signature.
