I found this with a bunch of coins I inherited, but I have no clue what it is. Any ideas? Thank you in advance,

look like a reprocessed bronze or copper medal.

If I had to guess, it would be a U.S. Mint restrike of a medal originally done by Anthony Paquet and William Barber.

Yes, it's a US Mint Medal minted by Paquet in the 1800's. If you look on the bottom of the trunk, you should see a "P"! That said, there are restrikes and yours looks like a restrike.

 

This is a newer version of an old Medal. Lincoln and Washington.
