Another 1960 D/D, Small Date Over Large?

    I loooooove my pennies!
This 1960 D coin is very beautiful and at the same time, there are too many points in there to talk about.
First of all, all letters in both side and the date seems to be a double strike and the digit "0" is not an oval shape, it is like the letter "O", very round! I noticed this point in some other coins too. In reverse, there are cracks in the top middle of the stairs and in the second column from the left which I think are not any kind of damage! Also, there is a mysterious moon-like shine in the left corner of the building!
I like to hear your opinions and would be appreciated constructive comments.

Can you take close up pictures of just the date/mm? I can't tell anything based on the pictures provided.

I agree with Furry...need closer shots, perhaps one that captures the Date and MM. Thanks!

Thanks. I don't see a large-over-small date DDO or an RPM. Normal large date cent.

    I think so also. 60-ddo-WRPM-sm over lgdate.JPG
Here is one with the D/D (green) and the small date (red) over large date blue.

Here is on with grease, but PCGS body bagged it as damaged, improperly cleaned!

Too bad PCGS got it wrong. Thanks for posting the pictures, especially that first one. For those that are new to Variety Hunting, the key to this variety is the RPM. If you don't have that diagnostic, especially on a circulated specimen, then attributing it becomes more difficult. That RPM was my reason for requesting the additional photo with the MM in the picture.

For the record, it seems that the 3 reviewers at PCGS should have had consensus that it was grease and not an excessive cleaning. Might be worth getting reassessed if you can get it done for cheap...perhaps at a show once they reopen.
