Does anyone know the mintage of the 2008 american eagle silver bullion coin? Great news on the 2009 nickels! I've yet to acquire a 2009 nickel or dime.

I think I scanned through all of the info in this thread trying to find some definitive info, and I didn't find it.

I'm wondering how many proof clad and silver sets of each type were minted in 2008...including the 5-coin sets. I'm trying to figure out how they compare to 1999 and 2001.

Thanks for any help on this matter.

what you mean by 5 pc set?. we have 5 pc uncirculated set composed of 1 am eagle and 4 prez dollars. mintage is 71,173.

i wonder what are composed of lincoln chonicle set and lincoln cent bicentennial proof set. anyone?.

 

now i knew the lincoln 5 pc bicentennial proof set. which contained one lincoln proof dollar and four lincoln proof cents. and the lincoln chonicle set might contained one lincoln proof dollar and a complete proof set. the later is my guessing.

I think the chonicle set will be limited to 50,000 so could be good appreciation for that set.

Yes it is, but there have been rumors that there will be no chronicle set, AT ALL.
This scares me a little....
If this set is produced with set limit of 50K, what will be the price?

 

I'm pretty sure that they will be adding only the 4 coin proof set alone and a separate Chronicles set that has 5 coins, the 4 proof cents and a proof Lincoln commemorative. That 5 coin set will be limited to 50,000.

The other 4 coin set has already been sold in the regular proof sets and silver proof sets. So the mintages on the proof Lincoln sets will now involve 4 sets sold by the mint.

The more valuable cents may end up being the ones in the United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set which I have heard are the copper composition.
