It seems like another marketing gimick and more of a disgrace than honor most of us won't get one anyway great another coin to flood the market and make silver more expensive.

what does cook islands or queen elizabeth II have to do with 9/11?

I am not a fan, and by the way what the hell is a "black proof"? just loked it up, it's something CIT (coin invest trust) does.

"The Cook Islands do not mint their own coins. Instead, they contract with Mints such as the Royal Australian Mint, the Perth Mint, The London Mint, and the Franklin Mint. By charging a fee to Mints which allow them to use the name "Cook Islands" in dollar units with limited mintages, the country generates extra revenue. It is interesting to note that these commemoratives are not recognized or accepted as legal tender in the Cook Islands. "

My guess, also contracted with Coin Invest Trust. According to what I read, they are like a Franklin Mint of Liechtenstein CIT Coin Invest AG, Balzers, Liechtenstein.

I know you guys may not like it but, I find it neat that they're commemorating 9/11 (In coin form)... I also love the look of the coin and if i had the money, I'd love to buy one myself

Yup with 3 oz of silver think about it 30×3=90/40×3=120 so I would think its going to be priced around $150-$200

At what point does a coin become a sculpture?
To me, a coin is something that is produced as a result of 2 dies pressing against a planchet and is relatively two dimensional.
    IMO, coins aren’t 3D printed.

It is an interesting and very realistic looking piece of artwork though.
I’m guessing the issue price will be $199-$229.

I just went to the CIT site. There’s a video that shows the ‘coin’ is nowhere near as high relief as the pic in the OP. It is a beautiful coin. Although IMO, it’s not worth the $400+ they’re asking for it on eBay.

I have never seen ANY of their coins sell for more than the issue price. They put the word INVESTMENT in there to draw you in.
    The coin looks like crap!
    Stay safe.
