What A Great Day

First I opened that box with the gold. Now it's a bag of junk silver, $100 face value. I'm not going through it at this time but it looks pretty good. Lots of Washington Quarters and Roosevelt Dimes naturally. But there are a high number of Walking Liberty Halves and Mercury Dimes. A small number of Barber coins and a handful of Standing Liberty Quarters but what surprises me is not a single Franklin Half Dollar.

Only $100 face but it's the other 13 boxes that I'm wondering about now.

On second though $150.00 in gold coins at face value sound like a good deal. Lol

 

When I started in to my 70 years worth of accumulating I didn't find much in the way of Franklins either. Fun to open old boxes.

 

Good God... I wish I had this much silver... In weight I only have about $175 worth of silver (I'll remove this post if it offends anyone)

Yup and some other good dates. I only glanced at them for about 10 minutes before I said later. Lol

 

There's at least half a roll of Mercury Dimes.
