    Hi guys,

I have this 1996 P Washington Quarter and see that there is a mid sized crack on the reverse from the wreath thru the "E and R" in Quarter to the rim. Is considered a die crack error and are these common errors on Washington Quarters?

Its a die crack or possibly a strike through no added value but thats not what its all about.

Die cracks are very common on Washington quarters along the perimeter of the Head on the Obverse and the perimeter of the wings on the reverse. Die cracks like yours are less common, but they happen. I like it!

I was thinking of a possible strike through because of how straight and kind of thick the line is i see these mostly on pennies.

A die crack would be raised. A strikethrough would be recessed.
