Wow, some very nice coins here. Well, my most recent coin purchase is an amazing, very unique and rare error that I just purchased at the Fremont show. However, Todd is taking photos of it for me, so I don't have any yet to post. But keep an eye out, I will post it on a new thread as soon as I have photos. You will definitely want to check this out!
The toning definitely caught my eye. I sold a 1911 I had about a year back and was sorry I did. Not as sorry now. This 1915 has a better look to it.
Bought this one last weekend, thought it was a decent looking MS64RB and i thought it was priced fairly.
Wow, more nice coins here, even that silver dollar Ksparrow! Crusty, nice photos of that coin - you really captured the pretty toning! And Illi, I love that 1883, great strike and nice color too!
Bought it today. Looks like a decent circulated double eagle from a very troubled year in American history.
That's a nice piece of history you have, CCGold! Something about coins from that tumultuous era that gives them an extra heft. I'm glad some of you like the 1844 SLD. It's graded xf40 by ANACS, and has somewhat prooflike surfaces. A nice looking coin. When I ordered it, I forgot that I already had an 1844 (I thought I had a 48) so now I have two and like them both. Of course, I still need a decent 1840 and a '48 to finish my 10 year set. I'm not even going to try the issues from the '50s, my pockets are way too shallow!
