    Hi All,
Is this considered a MAD or Double Die or neither? I find these type of strikes mainly in pennies, although infrequently, but not sure what the correct reference is.

I believe you are using to much light which makes something appear that isn't there MAD has nothing to do with this the correct term is doubled die in this case i think it is just MD or nothing.

    Die Deterioration doubling..
Misaligned Die Strike has nothing at all to do with MD, DDD nor a true DDO variety.

Are you taking notes potty dollar?

Honestly? Sorry to say this but I'm always correcting you. You can't deny that.. That's why I said it and I'm not afraid to state it because all the others that have been here long enough know it's true.

your correctings of me are mostly non-important doesn't really make a difference for example if I say how a coin got damaged is wrong or if i get any doubled dies wrong not related to ddo or ddr such as MD or DDD since I can't use NAV anymore since its so offensive especially to the member who can't remember anything.i do want your help mabey I should step away from the error coins forum then.

I'm here to help. I'm here to encourage. So are the others mint error specialists. But you need to admit that there are times you are to quick to answer and many times it is incorrect information. Are you on CoinTalk like all day long?

NAV can be used only when someone asks.. Does this issue have any value? Sometimes people don't care about value.. They just want to know what's going on with the coin. Just state what it is. Error or PMD - Post Mint Damage.. Simple

For example.. Someone who joined today asks is my coin an error.. It has a small Die Chip.. You going to answer.. It's just NAV.. They don't know what that means. They didn't ask about value. They just want to know what it is. It happened before in the other thread you recently posted saying it's NAV and the person didn't even know what you were talking about!

Don't you get it what I'm/we are trying to explain to you?

yes I use NAV-doubling when I can't tell the difference between DDD MD and other types that I can't get in my mind but I try my best I don't think of it as no added value but I use it as a last option.
