    hypothetically, if I won, one of those Franklin halves would have a forever home where it would be placed in a shrine as the only time I’ve ever won anything. It would be polished and dusted daily and sit on its spotlighted dais in all of its glory.

    I would put the prize toward the United States: silver Capped Bust half dollar, 1834, Small Date, Small Letters variety (O-114, R-1) or either of the Lithuanian coins.

    Thanks for sponsoring yet another giveaway. If I should win, I would like the US 2-cent piece. I don't have one in my collection, and the 1864 is a beautiful coin. (Ok, you have a bunch of beautiful coins, but I'm sticking with the choice noted above).

    Entry Post. Thank you for administering a contest. I would use the credit on the 1910-S Philippine Peso. It's an interesting part of the US Colonialization History. William Howard Taft served as its first Governor-General. On July 4, 1946, the US formally recognized the Independence of the Republic of the Philippines.
