As many of you all know I was lucky enough to snatch up a good amount of solid rolls of 2009 P Nickels and Dimes. Not going to say how much these have brought me but it has been a great 2 months thus far. I want to share a little bit of my luck with you guys so with that being said I will hold another one of those picture posting contests. The rules are simple...Only one entry per person, photography CANNOT be coin related and you must be a member as of July 1st also make sure when you post the photo that it can be visible by everyone; links directing to a photo will not count. The contest will run until August 14th. At the end of the contest I will have my wife pick the best photo. Here are the prizes: 1st Place: One Sealed Bank Roll of 2009 P Jefferson Nickels 2nd Place: One Roll 2009 P Roosevelt Dimes (coins will be in plastic tube) 3rd Place: One Sealed Bank Roll of 2009 P Lincoln Birthplace Cents
Try photobucket, it should be able to give you a link to post on the forums. If not then send me the pic and ill host it for you. Email is rodzm@hotmail.com
Heaven Can Wait Thanks for the contest! Congrats on your haul with those rolls. This is an interesting, candid and very irony-filled photo that I took here in NYC. This is a street cart food vendor, he is kneeling on a prayer rug, praying in the late afternoon. East 50th Street & Madison Avenue in Manhattan.
I should have noted that this was outside of an art gallery called Eden Fine Arts, that's what the EDEN refers to in the upper right corner of the frame.
Here's a photo I took while sitting on my deck attempting to "stop the wings" of a RT hummingbird in flight at my feeder. It was in broad daylight but had my shutter speed and aperature set to accomplish this, you'd think it was after dark! here's the original sized photo- cropped. Taken with a Canon S2 IS.
