Hello! I have a few questions about the 2021 quarters... Did anyone find one in circulation yet? Is there just one design or are there more? Are there 2021 W quarters or just P, D, S? Thanks!
1. There are no plans to release 2021-W quarters as of now. However, knowing the U.S. Mint, don't be surprised if they do an about-face. 2. I believe @Roseland3 has already found some 2021s already roll hunting. 3. There are two designs this year, the Tuskeegee Airmen ATB quarter and Washington Crossing the Delaware. 4. The Washington Crossing the Delaware design is slated for an April release, if I recall correctly.
Thanks for answering my questions! It would be pretty cool if the US Mint made 100k or something 2021 W quarters and don't tell anyone about it. See how long it takes for us to find one lol.
The US Mint will not do anything as a surprise to the collecting community without letting the dealers know first.
I found my first 2021 in circulation yesterday. We get only Denver minted coins until people back east bring some Philadelphia's out this way when they are in Tucson enjoying the good weather and golf!
I have not found any in circulation here yet. I did however, buy some from the Mint. I'm very disappointed with the end of the W quarters.
The only 21 coins I've seen so far are just the pennies. I'm sure I'll start finding them in a couple weeks.
Lucky you. I refer to the weather. I dated a woman several years ago who moved back to Tuscon, can see Mount Lemon from her back porch. 70 degree weather in PA and she was cold. Nice early find though.
