Seems like I'm starting the year off good since I managed to get this 1963 red seal 5 dollar bill from work today which was given to me as a tip
Those are some nice finds last year i was able to get 3 1957 1 dollar bills and a 1977 20 dollar bill
Well you're ahead of me so far this year I only got the one 5 which is kinda rare for me to get in change or exchange for
I kind of have an advantage when it comes to cool finds. I get change orders once per week for my store and I’m able to search them before they are counted and put in the safe for making change in the registers. And then I also have 10 registers I’m able to look in when I feel like it. On average I’m able to search $2k in $1’s per week Found a nice bank roll of Penney’s with a 1927 ender in it.
Yeah I only have 1 register I can look through to exchange for but I do have extra eyes on the lookout aswell
I have lookouts. today they found a crisp 1969-A $50 bill with some serious creases but otherwise looks like it was folded and stored somewhere since printed. I constantly scouring and poking through the money. I love surviving bills
Same here I remember the one bill that I had to let my manager keep for his collection was a 1958 100 dollar bill in rough shape
I have a few people I compete with but most of them seldomly have cash or care to buy them. Generally they enjoy the random wheat penny vs. a interesting star note or older bill.
I love wheat penny’s. Probably find 5-7 a week for the last 20+ years that o have kept. Probably more. late last year it seemed people were dumping collections. I had several times where I found entire .50 cent home rolled sleeves of just wheats.
I've never got that lucky the most I've ever got was 5 wheat pennies in 1 day and 18 buffalo nickels in one day
Either of those are seriously fun days to find some cool coins. I’m happy to find a single wheat in one day.
