Are all 1976 halves 40% silver?

I saw someone say they are 40% silver so I checked on e-bay. Some sell for over $4 and then other 1976 ones no ones will bid $.99 on. Is it only certain mints that are silver?

    Thanks!

Finding a barber dime! WOW! That is pretty good, I'd love to see pics of it, you just don't see them from roll searching too often.

wow, have you really gotten a box that was 85 to 95 percent copper? That's alot of copper when you consider that only 25% of the pennies in circulation are copper (based on an estimation I did where I picked out random rolls of pennies and separated the copper from the zincs and found that 25% of those randomly picked rolls of pennies were copper and 75% were zinc). I can't remember how many rolls of pennies I picked out for that experiment, but I know that for every roll of copper pennies there were about 3 rolls of zincs. I'm thinking I should do that experiment again the next time I get a box of pennies (or maybe I should get two boxes of pennies for the experiment, that way I can take use 10 rolls from each box so it'll be a truly random mix). But than again, I'm more interested in finding silver dimes (which I found one after searching through $250 worth of dimes within the past couple weeks, which is why I haven't been here in a while, it's because I've been so busy roll searching). I'll post pictures of my 1963 dime later.

Yeah, but this is the exception to the rule. Most of my boxes are along the same numbers you gave, it was just this one box that I received. Like I said, I think it must have been a hoard of copper or just someone dumping some old change in to get this concentration.

Got 5 rolls of nickels Saturday and searched them this morning.
    Found: 1944-D Warnick, G-4, 1946-S, F-10, 2 1960-D with BAR over 9/0 and Bar over B/Y/9. That's it.

Deposited a box of halfs at the bank. Nothing found in the box.

The teller had 3 rolls of halves for me that some one turned in, they contained:

    2 x 90%ers
    5 x 40%ers
    1970d (1st one i have found)
    1951 Frankie
    1958 Frankie

Those 3 rolls were better than most boxes I get.

Searched another box of halves tonight. 8th in a row without any silver. :( I did find a 2006 D though. I'd be happy with ONE silver coin in my next box, lol...
