Guy's...a while back before my surgery, I picked up 2 notes from an auction that I was very happy to get.
They just happen to be from NY :)bigeyes:) LOL...where else huh??

Anyway, they are rare...the $20 is the only note known for the NY Bank!

The $50 is one of 3 known graded notes from this bank, with only one of them being graded 1 notch higher, a 65PPQ! Well I am happy being second in this race for sure!!

I promised to post them when they came in and I am just now getting around to getting back to posting. I did post these in another location but never felt like doing it again due to feeling sick ..glad that is over with!

I hope you like them..they sure enhance the collection some!

    Regards,

    RickieB

    Lou..Thank you.
I am looking into trying to do a personal website for it instead of the banknotebank site. The only problem is I am not very good at websites and the time it would take is huge!

    Thanks for the support.

i doubt i am the perfect man for that job :D

i am certainly available to help in any way i can ... i might even be able to get you started with a simple layout :) nothing extravagant as i am no pro  but at least would be a start

i remember when i fisrt decided to do a site.. making the decision was the simple part... everything that came next was the most difficult!

You will need a domain, and a hoster. I use godaddy.com - they are friendly, easy to access customer support and are always available to answer any question! even those you might think are stupid (trust me on that lol). Once you get a domain and a hoster - a domain is your website .. like for this forum it is www.cointalk.com, my domain is www.daggarjon.com ect.... once those two items are all set, its as easy as uploading your website files.

Of course trying to decide what format to host can be a hard decision as well ... do you want a fomat what you controll every aspect of the page layout, design and what is posted and how .. similar to how my site is? or whould you prefer somethign thats prefabricated and all you do is plop in images .. if so, a gallery type program might be for you. A prefab gallery script might be the easiest. I think all you need is a a database to store the images, and the gallery script calls the right image at the right time ... i think anyhoot

There are a ton of 'templates' available for your use as well...

lots of dicisions to make... but once those are done... the work gets ALOT easier!!!!

feel free to PM me qith questions!

Do ISP's still offer free hosting with ones account?

im not sure really... some might. but from what i have seen of free hosting ... you dont have complete control over the site. Alot of times the framework is dictated to you, and with you not paying for the hosting, they have to make money somehow... and thats usually with ads. Most of the times, the ads have nothign to do with your site and you have no control over how bing or intrusive they are. Free hosting places are a great place to start and expirament .. but i think eventually, someone looking at the free hosting would move up to a full fledge site of their own ... but thats just my opinion :)

keep in mind, the banknote and coin site alot of members here use are technicaly free hosting sites :)
