july 27, 2009. are you ready for american samoa?. also more more months. the mint offer the u.s. virgin islands and the northern mariana islands. most likely the washington dc is the key date and maybe the lowest mintage. but all these six issues mintages were quite low as compare to statehood quarters. better get every one of them before the price move up in the future. cause the 50 state park starting next year. the mintage will certainly very much higher than these six quarters. do you think so?. do you want to buy and collect them?.
low population. can that be a low mintage too?. here are the statisticspopulation-est.) american samoa - 65,000 u.s.virgin islands - 117,000 northern mariana is - 81,000
My banks in the area are just not carrying them. These are coins I'm not willing to pay a premium on, so it is making it difficult. So far, I've got some of each of the 3, but not both mints. A lot of banks tell me, "We stopped special ordering the quarters when the state quarters ended.....we're not going to do that anymore." Anyone else get this "We're tired of the quarters thing" attitude from the bank?
I was able to get eight rolls of Guam quarters from a bank here in San Francisco. There are about twenty bank branches in the Financial District that I've been visiting about once a month, primarily to see if they have received any 2009-D nickels or dimes (they haven't). I will definitely be on the lookout for American Samoa once those are released.
Hi rodzm, You'll definitely be getting some of these as gratitude for selling me the 2009-P dimes at face value!
Thanks...I really appreciate it. Living here in Germany we have absolutely no chance of getting rolls. We'll be lucky if we see any singles. Ill shoot you a PM via PCGS forums
http://www.usmint.gov/images/mint_programs/DCAndTerritories/AS_Coin.jpg i plan to buy 5 set of american samoa two roll/set. i also subscribe 5 set of lincoln two roll/set for the 3rd and 4th series.
Only way I am getting these quarters is through an old hometown bank. I've only rec'd one 2009 DC quarter in change so far. I put it back into circulation since I didn't need it. No 2009 dimes or nickels yet, and maybe one or two 2009 cents if I remember correctly. This is what it must have been like during the low or no mintage years of 1931, 1932 and 1933.
less than five days to go. i need all the remain three territorial quarters. i will buy 5 set each. the offer on july 27 is only for american samoa.
Seems unlikely since from my understanding both the Puerto Rico and Guam quarters already have lower mintages.
you are right. if you talking about total mintage. but for mint roll. it's a different story. total mintage: district of columbia - 172,400,000 puerto rico --------- 139,200,000 guam ----------------87,600,000
today at 12:00 noon. don't forget the american samoa mint roll. plan to get 5 set. and also the u.s.virgin islands and the northern mariana islands in the future.
i ordered 10 set of american samoa instead. i also got 10 set of guam. no puerto rico and district of columbia. maybe i will also order 10 set each for the last two territorial quarter roll.
