1884 Morgan Dollar (I hope) EXTRA PHOTO

Have managed to get another photo of this coin and was wondering if you all could give me the benefit of your experience on whether its real and what it might be worth - concensus is US$15-$20 if authentic. I'm currently bidding on this in an online auction.

Pass on it. You can get a better example for the same amount. Looks funky to me.

If this is the same seller who had that COPY, I would PASS!
Looks a little off, and I can clearly make out a small "P" on the reverse above the eagle, I think the word COPY was worn off.
I would pass on ANYTHING that this seller has.

 

If it is, it's a very good fake. That being said, I personally would pass on it, just because circulated morgans don't appeal to me.

 

You can get a shiny new one for about $30

I doubt it is a fake, just because circulated 1884 morgans are not really worth that much.
