I got my 1st error coin out of circulation!

    a 1998 wide AM error

    it was pretty sweet to find it out of my pocket change! :D

    to post a pic of it when I get my camera back tomarrow

    also would like to know what you guys would grade it at and any set value on it too

    I believe that would be considered a "die variety", and not an "error" coin.

    Sounds like a keeper.
    Would love to see the pics.

    Great find Alex, i've searched hundreds of rolls looking for errors and varieties, and as fate would have it, I found my first 2000 w/am in my pocket change also, go figure. Keep searching and good luck. :hail:

    yea it's not very special in the looks wise it's "cirulated" but a keeper! and I always thought variety and errors were the same really
    course I'm prolly too laid back to be considered a true hardcore collector
