    Egypt, KM#622.1, 1984CE/1404AH, 5 Piastres, aluminum-bronze one year issue, unknown mintage but quite common. In the 2008 35th Ed. Krause it's listed at 25¢ XF and 85¢ Unc.

    Common but nice looking Egyptian coin of the Pyramids. Keeper.

    I have a bunch of these, as well as common coins from all over. I'll post pics later just for giggles. I have one of these that says 19VV. I assume its 1955?

    That site will read the Islamic date in so-called arabic numerals. This one will convert the AH date to its western equivalent. Just enter 1/1 as the month/day and click on "Islamic to Christian Date". Remember that the AH year will end 11/12 days earlier than the same day of the following western year.
