This may be old, and I am just now seeing it, but, it has me erked!

I find a item for sale, "morgans for melt value" about to go for far less than their value so I check it out, everything looks good so I bid. But, before the auction ends the seller cancels all bids and cancels the auction. He then preceeds to repost them.

I email customer dis-service and advised them of my issue... their response "There are many reasons why a seller might cancel a bid". Now, I realize that there are reasons to cancel a bid. However, this person is clearly abusing eBay's TOS. Further, he has my blood boiling! I have bought and sold on ebay for years - some times I win, some times I lose...

Anyhow, I mailed customer dis-service back and said I hoped they misread my comments - that the seller was clearly in violation of the TOS and asked them to review it again. I offered to wait several days before addressing this topic anywhere to allow them to look into it. They have not, so, I am gonna cry about it a bit:crying::smile

All ebay cares about is their fees.

Just remember, never use the words "logical" and "eBay" in the same sentence.
And probably not the same paragraph.

I thought the same, and pointed out that this person was avoiding reserve fee's... that didnt seem to matter much. I guess they figured they were making more from the listing fee's.
