Some good news for FrenchBanknotes.com - Madison and I have put our heads together and combined our collections of French and French-printed notes out at FrenchBanknotes.com. The combined content is bigger than either of us individually might have, and makes for a collection that has some wonderful depth in areas that it never had before.

Grab a cup of coffee and take a nice surf through the site, I think you'll enjoy it!

Glad you're enjoying it - it says something for the site, or perhaps the beer :)

Beautiful indeed, and I'm not a "paper guy", but you've got my attention. As for the beer, nothing spectacular....domestic yuengling. :D

Nice site. Whats going on on the back of p.146? What is that guy doing?

That's Louis Pasteur, in addition to everything else he invented the vaccine for rabies. So that's a guy with a rabid dog... not your usual banknote material :)

Cool! I do think there's a certain allure to notes that have been "around the block" a bunch of times. They bring their own history with them....
