post mint damage half?

    I believe this is post mint, but the "cut" seems to have affect a bigger area than a normal post mint ding (see the letters around it). So......your opinions please....

    What's the obverse look like?

    it could be a defective or cracked planchet, can you post a pic of the obverse and maybe a pic of the rim where the mark is?? It could also be post mint... hard to say without more pics.

    I'll post more later (I'm at work now. The Obverse is perfect, but the rim is interesting. I'll post....

    Here are some additional pics.....the obverse is not perfect as I said earlier.

    I still lean toward post mint, but your thoughts?

    Strange thing is how well the mint mark made it through the ordeal.
