gold plated

    Ok i wasnt going to post these. gold plated 50 pence /one penney and 3 pence the reason i wasnt going to post i think i paid to much i paid 80 euro's for the 3
    I tried to get refund no luck
    All info welcome

    Sorry mate I reckon that is way way too much, I know that some folks activly collect enamled cois but even so :mad:

    Looks like you got ripped. I don't know the current exchange rate but about $75 for less than $1 face in coins that have been gold plated and painted is outrageous. That's even more than people in the US were paying for Dollar and Quarter coins with Obama stickers on them.

    Iam wiser today
    I could have bought a half sovereign for the money
    I liked the coin's even got a cert with the 50p from the royal mint should have went with my gut

    To make things worse I'd like to point out the exchange rate for 80 Euros is around $112, not $75.

    Good luck next time. At least you like them.

    I was hopeing this was going to go quielty
    But the card i got with the 50p was from the royal mint
    They were ment to be only for the mint's customer's
    We will try to keep a lid on this thank's
