This is kind of eye opening bcs alot of you doubted some of the things I brought up and passed them off as impossible .This is the kind of stuff I wa referring to tho , Can someone explain how this Happened Please ?
It appears that something shaved the 9 and pushed the thin top portion to the side. Those portions aren't the shape and size for nothing. I think it might be damage. IMO, Jim
I guess I'd have to ask myself, "If it was a mint error, wouldn't there be others discovered?" Beyond that, I would have to conclude it was PMD. I'd certainly keep that one in my "anomalies" album.
Not nice to talk about us in that manner.. Please play nice and just ask simple questions. I say your new Cent is damaged.
I said what happened, didn't it ?lol don't have thin skin n be Hyper Sensitive not to mention why would you even comment n say that ? I don't think I need to repost some of your responses . That wouldn't be Nice ,but to type something that Happened in the past , If you feel some Guilt that's on You . I'm over it was just stating Idk alot but I know anything is possible , but I was confined to what the rules of Possibility were in this venue . Either way , Told ya so It's not bad , it's Just more evidence to me that there are alot more ways coins are created and Flawed in the process , How though ? Sorry if you feel like I was being something other than a little validation in some of my past arguments about how we are still learning about new errors .that's all that was .
The question is: What do you think? How do you think this occurred? You must have considered this coin to be some form of error. So, once again, what do you think caused the issue(s) on your coin?
I think it's an Anomaly , It doesn't have to have a name yet , here's another instance of Impossible becoming Possible . Like I said many times before , We're still learning New Errors on Coins that have been around for decades some even centuries . You guys call it what you think it is and I appreciate that .I'm just saying stay Open to the Possibility of New Things , New Errors and Variations . Again I don't know that much , but I know this is Not just a "Damaged Coin" . The World as you once knew is Much Bigger and Complex than You think . I Respect your opinion and it's not my coin either , but I know there's more to it than just what you are suggesting . I think the Penny I posted was a Double Die of a 3 or 9 depends on how you look at it . But most of All , just shows it's not just black and white . There's alot of Discretion involved in Coins and who decides what's what . In other words Nothing is Concrete as far as limitations and Variables . Can't chalk everything up to PMD or MD or DD sometimes there's not a name for it yet . By No means do I mean any Disrespect to anyone , so I appreciate your posts and replies Always . Thank you and be Kind , I'm not implying I have anything better than anyone or know more bcs I don't . I don't know hardly anything yet . Still learning but it's Fun and Eye Opening so I just hope you keep an open mind when it comes to things that are new to you .or not .. Either way I respect your Point of View
You have your opinion n That's fine . Rock on! posting That js shows alot about you . It's funny bcs I have seen some of your Rhetoric to others who have come into Cointalk and You always seem to have some type of Animosity or Negatively talking to another Person . Take it Easy Paddman , Easy go . Life's too short
