    bbb.jpg aaa.jpg I get that the obverse has an indent. But the reverse? Why is the T in CENT so large, and a bigger question, how did another T get underneath the N in CENT? Any thoughts appreciated.

    That is not a Mint Error.. No clashes. Just a damaged Cent.

    Just because a coin looks odd, strange, weird or different does not automatically make it a Mint Error.. Your question should be.. Is this an error or PMD?

    Remember that.

    Correct but not during the minting process.. Altered after it was minted.

    @potty dollar 1878
    Here is an overlay of an Indian Head Cent..
    This is what you use as reference for true clashes -

    I saw that before just forgot that the details have to match up if its not in the correct area its most likely damage/altered

    That extra T on the reverse is odd though.

    There is more going on with this coin. I don't know what it is but there is more.
    Someone tell me how there is a T below the N in cent. Better images would be cool.
    Fun coin.

    Happen to have a website with all the modern-ish die types overlaid like that? I could use it tbh.

    Yea I'd like to know how the "T" was pressed into the fields of the coin without affecting the devices.
