Nothing compared to others here I know but I love it none the less. This is what I've come across from circulation the last few months of collecting. (several posts of pics to follow)
dang girl.. i need a part time job at a bank... and be the only one to sort all the new money well a guy can dream right lol thats a very nice collection so far kdkenn! Keep looking, you have got what must be the best possible spot to find circulation finds! i am so jealous!
I don't know what you even mean by category/inventory them. They are in a blue spiral currency album and I just look at them for enjoyment now and then. LOL Seriously I need to learn what I'm doing.
I am the one who goes through all the money we get in our shipments. I'm in charge of the vault so also when tellers sell money from their drawers I get to go through it too when I'm verifying the straps. I do love my job!
It gets messy after awhile if you don't keep them all in one place. Trust me, I have coins and notes everywhere. Some are MIA at the moment. You have a good start by keeping them all in one place.
In post 5 is that what they consider an "upside down note"? I'd never heard of one till a few days ago on here I think then found some 1's on ebay for $13 and mine is even a star! LOL
The one that is 0, 6, and 9's. There are some on ebay right now. Never heard of one either till a few days ago.
a 'fancy serial' note like that all depends on who is bidding for how much it might sell. If 1 sold for $13, the next day another might sell for $4?!?!
Noost she is talking about the note with SN 00066960* It can be read (SN) either right side up or "upside down" the same way. Good going KD RickieB
Nice Collection! I guess you can never relax at your job because you are always looking for new and exciting things!
