A recent pick that I have a photo of Check out the extra at the rear the curve of the wing. It may be a new die state..so I have been told. Anyone ever see another on a 1803?
1922 peace dollar not sure of grade so if you could grade it it'd be awsome... yeah you cant se any feathers i know but its my first bought coin and the beginning of my collection
Don't have the coin yet, and the seller's pics arn't all that good, so for now, here's the label :smile
Those HR coins are nice! Although I could afford to get one I found them a little high in price for a modern coin.
I paid $1145 in January & had 3 free PCGS grading submissions for joing Collectors Club (PCGS) fee $100 for joining, ,Teletrade has sold First Strikes MS70s for over $2200 so I'm way ahead for now.
My latest significant purchase: No doubt that the toning is a plus. BTW, I heard that these had been stored in a Capitol Plastics holder in the holders box which accounts for the blues. There were many other coins from this particular set that were recently graded.
Nice Ike Might be some environment issues as well, I've had everything from cents through dollars, including Ike's, in Capital Plastics holders, in the original boxes, for decades, (40 years or so), without any toning. Just a thought.
Thats probably correct. I have a group that have this blue look but were stored in the cheap plastic gift type holders. A few came back from PCGS as MS-65. Wish they were 66s.
