I am surprised at the selling price of the item, $611.
I think somebody got a good deal.

me. I would have thought this would have brought at the very least a $700.00 bid. You win some , you loose some. First time ever, I bought a coin on Ebay.

So I went through this whole thread to see the punchline on who bought the coin. Did you place the winning bid?

I don't know if I did. I don't think so, previously I suggested a good bid for him was 750-800 . I said I would go no further than that myself. I even held back going to that bid. Actually, I never thought I'd pick it up for $611.oo

    Well done.
You even paid lower than greysheet.
To me, THAT'S getting a bargain.

yes, sometimes works that way. I know there was much discussion about cross-over and such. For me, I'm keeping the coin in the present NGC holder. This was my first ever, purchase of a coin on Ebay. I may quit while I'm ahead!

Wow, I am really surprised it went that cheaply.

    Congrats!

I think I was the under-bidder. I figured it would go for about $700.

That was my thinking as well, mark. I knew goldstone was bidding, and I suggested to him to consider between 7-800.00 so I low balled my last bid. Thanks for the congrats.
