I just found a 1903 Indian cent that is off center-broad struck...I brought a few rolls and BAM---there it was...will post pics later....:hail:..anyone intersted please PM me Neal
hmmmm is this an off center?????? Does this say off center????.......I think this does.... this is just one I found...I could post others, that NGC said was off center..PCGS..off centers as well...maybe my years of exp..is fading
Pretty cool. I'm guessing you found it in a roll of IHCs that you purchased... but if you found it in a roll of cents that you recently got from the bank, than that would be :thumb:
a little emotional there, aren't we? Calm down, I don't think that anyone was accusing you of something indecent or illegal. An opinion/belief was expressed. That is all. Now, I will leave without expressing an opinion on the coin.... in any manner.
Why have I seen more little fights on this sight lately. I didn't see any the first 3 months I was here. Let's stop!!! VERY cool find. What kind of premium will this bring?

The NGC piece looks like it is probably an off-center, can't say for sure without seeing the reverse. It does have the one thing it must have to be an off-center, part of the design is missing. (That is why I called the raw one an uncentered broadstrike rather than an off-center, all the design is present.) If the NGC is off in the same direction and amount on the reverse then yes it is an off-center. If it is not then it would be a severely mis-aligned die. All off-centers are broadstrikes, but not all broadstrikes are off-centers, and if you only see one side of a coin a mis-aligned die can look like either one of them.
