I would guess AU50, details, but that rim ding on the reverse is not good and discoloration on the obverse has me puzzled. Fake, gassed or ? to look old, yet look at the stars and the clean area around them?
Can you weigh it actually the cleaning helped it was already a details coin before it was cleaned and more details are visible.
After being cleaned it's worth less than it was dirty. If you want to sell a coin, leave it as is and sell it dirty. If you want to sell your car, clean, wash and vacuum it.
The blackness looks terrible, the reverse ding kills it for me. Whether it's real or not, I have no idea and I've been wrong before so I try not to guess!
^^^Not entirely detail sales of 1878 8tf in xf-au has been selling for around $50-$80 it has a chance to be worth more than melt.
