1960D Jefferson Nickel - Is it DDO and Die Chipped?

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by DAVID J SAUNDERS, Feb 10, 2021.

  1. OK. So during my nickel roll hunting, I came across this Nickel. Above the 0 in 1960 and the R in Liberty, there appears to be a die chip. Looking for confirmation.

Also, in Etsy, someone is selling a nickel of the same quality, and says that it is doubled died around the nose, chin and front of jefferson. IDK to be frank.

Any assistance would be appreciated. 1960D obverse.jpeg

That is called a BAR nickel. Not worth much, But I keep everyone with at least 2 connections to the rim. I like it!

    Who is Frank?

Worn Die Issue. Minor Die Breaks. Nothing major. Be careful with Etsy. Not a good site to get values on any coin.

Welcome to Coin Talk. Be Frank or whoever, but be prepared for some very valuable information along with some humor and sarcasm.
