quick and simple

Hello all. I am a new member to coin talk and would like to have a contest as a way to say thank you for all the help you have givin me so far. I am just a rookie at collecting and really dont have much yet. but i do have an extra 1908 indian head penny I would like to put in a contest. Here is how it goes. Since it is baseball season I thought Id put a baseball trivia question in. The first person that can tell me 5 ways to get on first base (WITHOUT HITTING THE BALL ) wins the coin. not much of a prize, but a fun contest. just be the first to reply to this contest with the right answer good luck bill

last one has to be a dropped third strike, for some reason I was thinking that it had to be tipped, but I don't think it does now...since the only two left is a single and a fielders choice

It was fun Bill, I haven't had to think about the rules of baseball in about 25 years, our all-star coach grilled us on the rules everyday, we all thought he was such a pita. I can't believe I missed the dropped third strike since I was the catcher

 

I know how you feel, my 14 month old son thinks I'm his personal jungle gym when I'm on the laptop.

 

Please do a drawing for the others. I already have several 1908 IHC's. Besides I could think of four and could not remember "pinch runner". Thanks for the contest though.

 

I was thinking the same thing but for the YNs, like 16 and under maybe.

 

That works for me. I feel like I did not really win since for the life of me I could not think of pinch runner. So you or talley are the real winners.
