At first I noticed the alloy mix then the nice doubling of the 0 in date. Looked up the MM and similar to WRPM-003 so tried to verify using markers. Couldn't make out die scratches due to circulation wear and damage on obverse. Flipped over and noticed gouges under letters O, N & A in States. Are they lamination peels because the letters show no damage from them or just die chips or none of the above? Thanks
Hard to tell if its an RPM the coin is so circulated and on the reverse that does appear to be a lamination.
Yeah, lamination made the marker under T just as impossible to verify but that's ok. Coin has pulled the hat trick but RPM would have given it +1...lol 1. MD 0 in date 2. Alloy mix 3. Good size lamination 4. RPM???
The MM position is not correct, also the doubling you are seeing is die deterioration. Pretty much the same as the poor mans Doubled Die in 55'.
