While checking my type set for completeness I discovered that many of the more recent coins were missing.
I guess I figured I could pick them up anytime.
So that's what I'm doing now.

    Here's one of them:

Very happy with this coin. :D
The left hand, although not full, is about as good as I've ever seen.

    You asked for it.
In deference to the dial-up users I'll post links rather than images.
And these have been reduced 50% from the originals.

I see full gown lines across the leg, but the left hand looks a bit softly struck.
Actually I don't know what a fully struck left hand should look like.

Yep, that's a oopsy on the rim at 10.

Very nice strike on that one!

I know very little of this series. Tell me, is this date commonly found struck this well?

    I don't know.
Since my primary collection is a type set I only learn the basics of each issue.
I know the gown lines over the left leg, the left hand and to a lesser extent the head are key indicators of the strike quality.

Coin World had a series of articles on the characteristics of each date/mintmark combination for the Walking Liberty series.
I suspect I could go to their online archives and look up each coin.

Yes it is, often better than this one. This one comes from fairly worn dies though.

    Me LIKEY! :)
I love the walkers, as they look good in AG condition! MS65 just makes a statement of the beauty of the coin, and makes me say.. WOW!
    Nice coin
