It was obviously tongue in cheek and meant to demonstrate a level of frustration rather than an actual threat.

Besides with Manny being military, the reference was perfectly suited. Sometimes in order to seek the truth one must read what's between the lines.

I am totally not saying that you would actually resort to violence. It is just obvious that the competition is bringing you down, at a time when you should be able to enjoy the spoils of your hobby!

Ok the competition is bringing me down so much that I am not enjoying making $100+ a day. Im not gonna say anything else because it is simply pointless to prove my point.

I'm done because there is no point in arguing. I have better things to do than sit here and explain things

I think it's all just a big misunderstanding. rodzm is an upstanding guy. And I know he's enjoying the air conditioner he bought from the proceeds so his family would have some much needed relief from the heat overseas!

Please Brian dont mention it, its a bit embarassing having to sell some nickels and dimes to buy an AC. I am enjoying it though, it sure gets hot when there is no AC available.

Well guys it looks like the same guy who posted $15 nickels absolutely does not care about making much profit because he now sells them for $7 Buy it Now. Take away 12% fee from BIN and Final Value fees plus paypal plus free shipping, plus listing fees and he'll be glad to make a couple of dollars.

Talk about totally destroying a good market, but oh well I got my 65 rolls coming out plus another 100 once I tell my dad.

    Let the fun begin!!!

I think my wife described it best..."Somebody ate stupid for breakfast"

Tell me about it. Oh wait while youre at it why not just sell them for a dollar. I mean its 20x profit

This is unreal. I bet you once the rolls go up this guy will start selling his for $50 a roll when theyll be selling for 3-4 times that

Well . . . he is doing a favor to people -- he's doing a favor to buyers who would otherwise pay more, right?

He wrecking the market only for the sellers, no?

He has more ethics than every other seller combined. Im sure he feels bad about ripping people off on nickels that will be worth 10c each in a few months. He probably cares more about saving his buyers money than getting rich and letting other sellers get rich.

Well go ahead and start selling them by the roll before that seller does. Youll make $100 the first few rolls then $50 the next several rolls. Enjoy your profits and ripping off the stupid.

First of all you need to stop pointing fingers at people being unethical. So do you think that selling a coin that is worth $1 to sell it for $20 unethical????

You got massive balls compadre to think I have less ethics than every other seller on Ebay. Go to Iraq and treat people that shoot at you and tell me if that is unethical. Ive been there, how about you????

    Thats right, you probably havent.

I have a good saying for you...He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone.

You need to look into yourself before you judge others of being unethical.

People like you I call one word...a hypocrite because you know what, if you were given the same chance you'd be doing the same damn thing. Its not unethical, its another (legal) way to make extra money to pay bills.

You must be dumb in thinking im forcing people into buying nickels and dimes. People set prices on the market, not me.

    Economics 101 buddy

How old are you? Wait until you get in the real world of economics. The seller does not set the final sales price, the buyer does. When you leave your parents house, ask for less money at your first job, because you will save your employer money. That will show that you care more about your employers saving money than you getting rich off of them. Same thing you just said to Manny. Makes a lot of sense, huh?

Hey folks, can we all settle down. Lately there has been more harsh words than in my first 3 months combined on this site.

Manny, you've made a killing, an absolute KILLING. Leave it at that. People paid what they were willing to pay. No need to complain about how your profits went from 4000% to 400% (or whatever it is) because you still make a killing. And, no need to respond to people who question your ethics (if that is what they were doing).....do what you know is right and live with it.

I just don't like the war of words that I've seen 3 or 4 times lately. We don't need that.

Bob, I agree. I just don't like to see Manny get bashed for making an honest buck. Yet some treat him like he's selling counterfeits, for crying out loud.

Im gonna go in peace and go on with my life. I have better things to do than fuel someone's desire for bashing.

matter of fact is there an ignore button?

That is what a free market is. If people want to pay a lot to be one of the first to own a 09 nickel or dime, so be it. Manny did what any of us would do (and I did it too with the 09 dimes). There were no ethics issues here...

    Manny,

    What does "AG addict" mean?

AG is the chemical symbol for silver. So Silver Addict...Me love silver!!!

Better than those pieces of green paper called Federal Reserve Notes

Nothing like finding silver in the wild. The last time i had such a thril was a few motnhs ago when i inquired my local bank if they had any halves. They only had two rolls which were turned in by a customer so i bought them. One had some 40%ers in it but the second roll was a solid 90% roll of 64 Kennedy's.

Its weird because here in Germany the banks do not get halves from or any coin from the Fed for that matter. They basically use whatever is in circulation within the military community so someone mustve turned in their silver stash. Theyre so nice and shiny
