I searched another box of halfs today, nada. That is 3 boxes in a row without a single silver coin or keeper. My first 3 boxes were so good....

I also searched 4 rolls of dimes and found one 2009 P dime.

I searched 8 rolls of halves.
Found several Bicentennials(I keep ALL Bicentennials.....I just like 'em), a couple of 1971 D DDO, and 2 2001 P. According to my 2010 Red Book, the 2001 P Mint was not released for circulation, but I just happened to find 2 of them. How does that work?

I also searched a roll of quarters and filled a couple holes in my quarter folders.

2 boxes of halves seached yesterday!
So, i get my boxes of halves from 2 different banks, and i try to stagger them so i always have a box at one or the other bank available for me. But due to being sick this week, i ended up "behind schedule". So at lunchtime Friday i picked up a box and started to go through it. One thing i do, is to look at the end coins to see if any silver is easily visible. When i got down to the second layer, lo and behold there was the reverse of a Walking Liberty staring at me. No matter what else i found in that box, i knew this would be good.
Final total for box # 1:
    2005-S Proof
    18 40%
    5 1964
    2 Walking Liberties, 1945 & 1946.

I was on such a kick from that box, that on the way home, i "dumped" the rest of the box at one of my usual banks and grabbed another box waiting for me at the second bank. I started off very weak. Nothing for many rolls. I even was slightly upset at finding a 1996 50 pence from Ireland, but then some good stuff started showing up. I figured, i'm not going to even come close to beating the earler box, but boy was i wrong!
    Final total for box #2:
    1 1964-D
    1 1976-S silver proof
    4 40%
    1 2002-D

1 1914-S Barber!! (No that is not a typo!!!)

    Still stunned and amazed!

Good luck to all and keep searching! You never know what is out there!
