Well everybody has already made the rubber band suggestion... You can compare rubber bands, and coins to like a fork and an electrical socket. I am writing a childrens book on that "Why can't Mr. Fork and Mr. Electrical Outlet Be Friends?"
But anyway, back to coins...

You have a very nice collection, and you must know I envy you..
I love all the coins, but the one that jumped at me, was that FH Standing Liberty Quarter you have, I love the standing liberty quarters, and will end up getting one a little later on, as my morgan and indian quarter eagle set progresses, as well as my type set.
You have a very nice collection, and a nice STASH of bullion I might add.
Love the SLQ, love the morgans, love the 1918 S cent, I love it all

That cent is one cool coin, I've never seen anything like it!

And the other day I finally saw my first small gold dollar, like the one pictured... And I have gotta say, those things are tiny!!!

And yes, them gold dollars are tiny!! lol

The guy that specializes in selling indent cents around here is a local city photographer for the homicide division. He's moto is "take pictures of mutilated coins by day, and mutilated bodies by night." lol

thx for sharing... loved the coppers.. esp the 1863 Indian , my Btw my fave pic is the first one of the drawer and how neatly u have stacked those air-tites... but then i am just a newbie apparently no good at what i like

i am sure u have a story for each of those coins..must have taken some time and hard work to collect all those wonderful coins...

 

some very nice coins, Ed. I don't think that the 18-S is a proof, but it surely is pretty!

 

Thanks Mumbapuri, it pleases me to share this collection, and that everyone finds something they like best. It is interesting for me to hear what coins everyone likes from it, and has been a true pleasure to put this collection together up to this point, and where it will go to in the future as I keep on collecting.

sorry no pics of the 1914 D cent, and another greek bronze, think I deleted them by accident, my bad.

I would have to say the two coins that are worth the most are the 2007 proof buffalo, and the 1877 indian cent. I paid $820 on the 2007, and the 1877, I could have bought for $5, the guy didn't know, but I offered him $80 instead, I kind of felt bad even buying it off him for that, till he went around town and said I was a sucker "spending $80 on penny!"
Oh well, what can you do? lol
