I got out of coins 12 years ago when cataract surgery completely reversed my vision and I no longer trusted my eyesight when grading coins... Got back in in February to buy silver as an inflation hedge, mostly BU and proof $1 commemorative. Had to buy a new Red Book and nearly flipped when I saw the mintage of 32,030 for the 2015 March of Dimes proof $1and they were available for $30-35 in PCGS and NGC Pf69 on Ebay. I bought a bunch because that was only $5-$8 above the price of early modern issues, raw and ungraded. Then I bought a MoD 3 piece set, W dime, reverse proof dime and proof $1. Then I looked up the mintage of these proof dimes, 74,430??? If the dimes were only available in the 3 coin sets, how could there be 74,430 dimes and only 32,030 dollars? I think the mintage of the proof dollar is actually 106,460. The Red Book, as the "bible" of coin collecting, should be as correct as humanly possible because people like me make investment decisions based upon it. What you'll think about that?
Ah, but Ken...the Red Book and Krause catalogs have both been slipping up over the past couple of years. Krause sold and has not been the same since. It seems nothing good lasts forever.

ddddd is correct in answering your question. As a proof offering for the dollar alone, 32,030 were recorded as being sold. As a set of three 74,430 likewise. On the subject of the commemorative, I bought the set for the dimes which were only available in those finishes from the set purchase. As odd as it may sound, the set cost me far less than buying them graded. Should I one day opt to do so, factoring in the fees, that price was still below 69 grade. Which these would easily grade at the moment.
