I can see the wear the more I stare at the 1916. I was in denial. Two Lincoln experts say AU, well it's AU. I keep in my raw collection. Yes I am very happy about the 31 S. Deliberated a long time about that coin.

I love the color on this one! I am doing such angled photos to get the color. I need to get a better light set-up with those GE Reveal lights!

25- = 65 RB, 25-D = 64BN. Are these part of the ones you have to add to your registry?

I have some VBD's with very weak TRUSt's.

Is this a varity die of recognition? This is about the 4th one I've found so they must be less than rare in this series.

Looks like a nice coin but that doesn't really look that weak to me. Maybe a late die state and you saw a few of the coins struck by that die.

I'll say 64BN then 63BN, nice coins, I love the browns

Harry, thats a nice 1995 DDO, but looking at it ( I do not see memorials too often) it is a WOW after staring at wheats, what they have done to Abe.

Abe is a changed man. My only slabbed Memorial and recent Lincoln with the exception of an ANACS 2009 birthplace 2009 MS-67. Look at the 7 O' clock on obverse the 95 DDO, looked with my 10X loupe, its not at all green but the there is a "dot" there, looks almost upraised. What is it?

Could be ( looks like ) a carbon fleck or something, does not look like dirt. Did you get that from my site? I remember selling a few of those and one to you but cannot remember what year you bought, 72, 84 or 95.

You didn't sell one to me this is my first 95 DDO. One would think a 68 wouldn't have any imperfections. e-bayed this one.

Guess the grades- you guys were right on on the 25 D- PCGS 63 BN.
    The 1925- GENUINE :confused::yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn:
    ALTERED COLOR.

I may resubmit or send to NGC. I wanted to see what people would say if I made it seems like it graded. My dealer said it was iffy. I really like this coin though. Sorry I tricked everyone. Just wanted to see if anyone would say- "definitely altered color". A dealer I know says resubmit and it will grade.

Oh the 1995, Harry is awesome. Great color red. It is a carbon fleck in the area described. Maybe someone talked over it. I think NGC slabs preserve the red a lot better. If we check this coin 20 years from now i bet it won't look hardly any different. I have several full reds already toning since I owned them in PCGS holders. Also when you try to crack an NGC slabb it feels like Fort Knox. Just an observation of mine.

I can't get over that red color Harry. That is the most perfect hue IMO. Awesome

altered color is one of the hardest things to pick out from a pic. A different background reflection can change the coin from natural to altered in appearance.

BTW, what did the 25-D come back as?

Here's another look the coin almost looks colorized.

I wish they would smoke whatever it is when I send my coins to NGC. For that 95 DDO to graded a 68.....I say no way, no how. If it is, then I have quite a few zinc Memorials that are 70's. I also REALLY wish they would label is properly with DOUBLED DIE.
